This Lelo Mia 2 was sent to me for review, it arrived very quickly in some lovely discreet and protective packaging
Mia 2 Presentation
As with all of the Lelo toys that I have the pleasure of owning, it came in an outer box with a nice picture of the toy and brief description of what it does on one side and the lelo branding on the other side, inside the outer box is an inner back box which could almost be described as a gift box, and inside this the Vibrator presented beautifully in a moulded protective layer of foam with a sample of lelo intimate massage lotion, instruction manual and satin storage pouch.
What you need to know
The Lelo Mia 2 is a small bullet vibrator and it is charged through a USB, the cap just twists off to reveal the USB connector and then it can be connected to your laptop, pc or even mobile phone charger if you have one with a USB connector. When it is charging there is a pink light which flashes on and off, this light stays on once the Mia 2 is fully charged. The Mia is relatively quick to charge taking approximately an hour.
Is the Mia 2 waterproof?
The Lelo Mia 2 is completely waterproof meaning that it is suitable for use in the bath or shower if that is your thing, personally I don’t like using toys in the bath but I still think that waterproof toys are great, they are just so much easier to clean than the non waterproof kind. Lelo recommend that you use a good quality sex toy cleaner to clean your Mia, but you can use warm soapy water if you wish, just don’t put it in the dishwasher, I have a feeling it won’t come out quite as it went in.
How I found it
The Mia 2 has 6 modes, this took me a little while to work out, the only buttons on the Mia 2 are a plus and a minus button, which to me was just on and off, plus faster and slower, how do you activate those other modes?
Well apparently it’s not that hard even if it’s not that obvious at first glance. You need to turn it on and then hold the + button down for 2 seconds it will then activate the next mode, you do this again to work your way through all of the settings, I had to go on the Lelo site and read the manual to work out how to get it to go back to constant and their answer which is that you hold the – button for 1 second. When you have it on the mode that you like you use the + and – buttons to change the speed of the vibrations until it is the right power level for you. The button on the front of the Mia lights up whenever you press it to show that you have pressed it, and like other Lelo’s when the battery is running low it also flashes. This means that you need to charge the toy and won’t end up with a dead battery in the middle of a session which would be incredibly frustrating.

The Mia 2 is pretty powerful for such a dinky little bullet vibrator, when it is on full it is more powerful than any other bullet vibrator that I have tried, it is also nice and quiet and the vibrations are lovely and rumbly and deep, not buzzy and shallow that often leave me feeling numb. The vibrations in the Mia 2 are concentrated in the rounded tip of the vibrator and they do slightly travel down the whole body when it is in use, but the power is definitely in that tip.
I like the look of the Mia 2, it is designed to look a bit like a lippy so you can pop it in your handbag or make up bag when out and about and not raise any eyebrows and I have to say that in this case they have succeeded, this really does look like something that you might find in anyone’s hand bag, even the metal strips around the middle adds to this look. I suppose you would have to know lelo and it would have to be showing in just the right way for it to stand out as a vibrator.
The Lelo Mia 2 is the 1st Lelo toy that I have had that isn’t made from silicone, its made from ABS plastic which is body safe and easy to clean, it is even safe for use with any lubricant and for storage with any material.
Overall I am impressed with this cute little Lelo Mia 2, its small, discreet, well packaged, easy to charge, light, quiet and easy to clean, its even got a good amount of power in it, this would make a lovely gift or just a fantastic little addition to anyone’s toy collection.
